Bitbop Germany Launches On-Demand Mobile Video Service at the International Consumer Electronics Fair

Subscription service delivers commercial-free TV content on-demand to personal computers, tablets and mobile devices

International Consumer Electronics Fair, Berlin, Germany, September 2, 2011- Jesta Digital, a leading global provider of next generation entertainment content and services for the digital consumer, today announced the official launch of Bitbop Germany www.bitbop.de at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) in Berlin. With access to over 3,000 world-class German and American TV programs, consumers can now experience high-quality, commercial-free mobile entertainment across numerous devices and all major operating systems including Apple iPhone and iPad IOS, Android, and via the Internet.

Following its successful beta launch in May, Bitbop Germany now offers a wide selection of great programming from over 15 networks including ProSieben Group, HBO, ARD Video, ZDF Enterprises and MTV Networks Germany. Subscribers can download or stream popular shows like “Stromberg," Sony Pictures’ “Damages,” “Breaking Bad” and “The Tudors,” “Anna und die Liebe“ and “Die Wochenshow”and HBO’s “Sex in the City,” “The Sopranos” and “Entourage.” Exclusive to Bitbop Germany, “Entourage” will be available to subscribers in its original English version. Bitbop Germany will continually expand its TV program offerings and plans to offer movies in the future.

Vodafone today unveiled the seven mobile internet start-ups that have reached the final of the Vodafone Mobile Clicks 2011 competition.

They are:

Germany - Wunderlist is the first cross platform task management app that supports over-the-air sync and unlimited sharing completely for free.

Netherlands - Skylines offers a search platform for real-time images. Combining data from social media sites like Instagram, and Yfrog Twitpic, Skylines indexes over one million photos a day.

Portugal - Hole19 is a complete mobile and web performance optimization platform for golfers, connecting them to golf instructors and golf courses.

Republic of Ireland - HeyStaks is a social search service that plugs in to Google, Bing, and Yahoo! to bring you more relevant results as you search.

Spain - Frogtek is an app that allows shopkeepers in the developing world to set up a financial system to run their business easily and quickly.

Turkey - BillGastro offers restaurant owners an affordable point of sale solution for a unique mobile restaurant app for their customers to reserve tables, to order food online and post news and events easily.

UK - ParcelGenie is the world’s first Instant Gift Messaging service that makes sending real gifts to friends and family almost as simple as sending an email or a text message.
